Easter was a little different this year. I usually spend time with my family in Memphis, but with school and work, traveling just wasn't an option. Although my time was not spent with my biological family, I did spend it with the next best thing. I have been so blessed with the friendship of Katie and Ryan in my life. Between dinners every Thursday night and impromptu snow days, I can't imagine Chattanooga without these guys. No matter what crazy shenanigans I have going on in my life, they always know how to brighten my day and provide the comfort of being with family. My Easter Sunday was spent with them, and what a joy it was. We attended church then retired to their house for an early dinner. Katie is an exceptional cook, and anything her spatula touches turns to gold. That being said she did not let us down on Sunday. A strawberry cake made from scratch was enjoyed by all, along with many other delicious dishes.
They are such a beautiful couple and I am so thrilled that they are expecting a little one this year! I am so excited to see how God blesses them these next few years. Their hearts are so full of love, I have no doubt in my mind that they will be incredible parents. All that being said, I am beyond ready to shower that kid with J.Crew and be an auntie Mollie!
