Today is a very special day because it marks the one year anniversary of my blog! I cannot believe one full year has gone by, man time flies! Well it has been a wonderful year and I am so thankful for all of the dedicated readers out there! You guys give me a reason to keep on posting, so thank you!
Since it has been one year, and I always like to challenge myself, I am introducing a new feature to "Mollie Anna". The blog will now not only feature fashion posts, but I am branching out to lifestyle posts as well! So look forward to recipes, home decor, and just little snippets of what's on my mind! As you can probably already tell this post is my first lifestyle post. I am house sitting for most of the summer in the cutest house i've ever seen, and I knew it would be perfect for the shoot! We did most of it in the kitchen, but I couldn't help but show you around their cute backyard and demonstrate some of my morning chores.
Growing up I use to ride home on the bus with my friend Rebekah every wednesday so that we could go to church together. Rebekah's mom, let me start of by telling you, she puts Betty Crocker to shame! The woman can cook anything and make it taste like heaven, but her specialty (in my opinion) is her bread. With her recipe she makes all kinds of goodies, but every Wednesday was pizza night. Oh man, there is nothing better than her mother's pizza! When I decided to start doing lifestyle posts I knew I had to
have her mother's dough recipe!
Mrs. Phillip's Famous Bread
3 cups of bread flour (you can do 2 cups of wheat and 1 cup of regular if you want wheat bread)
1 cup of water
1 tsp of salt
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of oil (vegetable oil)
2 tsp of yeast
place all ingredients in your bread oven on the "dough" setting (should take 1 hour and 30 minutes). Let your dough rise for about 30 minutes while it is still in the bread oven. After your dough has fully risen bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes!
This is just your basic dough recipe so feel free to great creative with it! I'd love to hear comments back if you try this recipe, or just your thoughts! Thank you for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed week!
