Visiting Italy has always been a dream of mine, and finally my dream is coming true. I am sitting on a musty squished 8 hour flight and I couldn't be happier! I will be blogging about this trip when I return but I couldn't help but share my eventful morning! Look for my next post when I return, so for now peace out America!
Hour 5 of this 8 hour flight and it has already been one to remember. I am currently seated between a man ,who I assume to be Polish, a twenty something guy who doesn't seem to enjoy my attempts at conversation, and the mystery guy, seated next to the Polish man, that I can't quite figure out if he just enjoys fine jewelry or if he's married but wears his ring on the wrong finger and hand. Before this wonderful adventure we flew out of Knoxville into Chicago. I fell asleep and when I woke up I thought the world had frozen over! I have never seen so much snow! After my flight from Knoxville to Chicago we had a 6 hour lay over. Which was spent sprawled out across couches mooching off the airports wifi to catch up on shows I've missed this week due to mid terms. Ooooo I can tell Scandal is going to be a good one. There is no telling what Olivia Pope will do next. Oh yeah did I mention my grandfather is a part of some premiere club so we waited in this special area with sliding glass doors and 12 different kinds of coffee. Okay so back to my 8 hour flight. I have successfully watched three movies and after my third I got up to use the bathroom and when I came back I sat on my earphones and broke them. I pressed the call button to get some new ones but no one came. Finally a woman passed and I called at her. It was dark and she had an accent so I really couldn't tell if she actually worked on the plane. So I just mumbled something about headphones and then stuttered ahh never mind. And now I wait...just a few hours...just a few short hours are standing between me and the beautiful city of Venice. Is it possible to be in love with a city you've never even been to?? Ciao for now!
