This week marks the last week of summer vacation for me, because next Wednesday is move in day!  I am so excited to be embarking on the next chapter in my life, but I cant help but feel a bit somber about it all.  Hendersonville has been my home for the past nineteen years, and it will be a little difficult for me to leave behind.  Over the years I have made some amazing friendships, and it pains me to part from these extraordinary people.  This summer we have made some treasurable memories, and I will never forget them!  From the Matt and Kim concert to our trip to Cummins Falls there has never been a dull moment!  I have been so blessed with these memories and the people to share them with!  So now the summer is coming to an end and everyone is shipping out all at once, but the memories of this summer will live on forever.

Chambray is one of my favorite pieces in my closet because it is beautiful in all seasons and it goes well with so many colors and patterns.  I paired one of my favorite chambray shirts with a pair of patterned shorts in the same cool color family, and then kept it neutral with brown sandals, brown bag, and gold jewelry.  I added a raspberry lip to complement the cool colors, and of course finished with some pearls.  I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed week!

If It's Mint To Be It Will Be

Dress:  Gap ~ Sweater:  Gap ~ Belt:  J.Crew ~ Shoes:  American Eagle ~ Necklace:  Forever 21 Bracelets:  Forever 21 ~ Ring:  Francesca's Collections

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Jeremiah 29:11.  I tend to be a bit of a "worry wart" and a perfectionist when it comes to making plans for my life.  When I'm hit with obstacles that arent apart of my plan I tend to turn into that "worry wart", but then I'm reminded of Jeremiah 29:11.  I can make plans all day long, but at the end of the day God's plans are always better.  "Everything happens for a reason", I live strongly by this quote.  Every obstacle we face in our lives has a purpose.  Whether its to bring people into our lives, build our character, or even present us with a wake up call, everything does happen for a reason.  In my last post I wrote about not making long term plans and letting God take control of my life now.  I have come to find there is no reason for worrying about the future.  God has a plan for each and everyone of us, and I plan on living it.  So once again I will live in the now and dream of the future, glorify Him in ways I know how, and let each moment in my life construct me into the woman I will become.

Mint is one of my favorite colors right now, because It is so easy to bring into fall!  The color looks so beautiful with warm browns and raspberry I just love it!  I paired the dress with a chunky cream sweater and then added accents of brown and gold.  I then touched it off with a mint ring, a raspberry lip, and of course pearls.  I hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed week!
